UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has urged Sadhbhawana Party Chairman Rajendra Mahato to end their border blockade.
Dahal telephoned Mahato on Tuesday and urged to seek solution through talks and dialogues, sources privy to Mahato informed.
Mahato responded by blaming the major parties of failing to assure the Madhesi Morcha of addressing their demarcation demand. He also said that the Morcha had also not agreed on the recently endorsed constitution amendment proposal.
Madhesi Morcha has been blocking major border points with India for more than five months. The blockade has resulted in acute shortage of fuel, foodstuffs and other essentials across the country.
