A few days back everyone was taken aback when they learnt that the Ranbir Kapoor – Katrina Kaif prem kahani has come to an abrupt end. Abrupt because, just two weeks before this news broke, the couple was seen sharing an intimate kiss on the terrace. The couple tried making it work for far too long but things weren’t falling in place for them after which they made peace with the fact that the relationship is not headed anywhere and their differences can’t be resolved. Post the much publicised break-up, though the couple has been going through a lot emotionally, they look composed at public events.
Along with the emotional baggage, the break-up with Katrina has cost Ranbir a bomb! A source close to the actor informed us, “Ranbir’s break-up is going to cost him financially. He will lose about Rs 21 crore after moving out from the house he shared with Katrina.” The couple reportedly used to shell out Rs 15 lakh as rent for their penthouse in Silver Sands and RK had paid Rs 21 crore as the security deposit. The two had invested a lot of time and efforts in doing up their love nest where they lived together for over a year. The couple had even picked up souvenirs and artefacts from their foreign trips.
Post break-up with Kat, the Tamasha actor moved to his new home in Wilson Apartments on Hill Road in the second week of January and has occupied the entire top floor. Last weekend, the actor also hosted a small party and was attended by his close friends from B-town.
